“For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.”

Good Morning!

God loves you and He’s not done with you! This month, we are reading through 1st and 2nd Corinthians. Today, make sure you read 1st Corinthians chapter 3 and continue to read a chapter a day throughout this month.

I have a prayer request! As you’re reading this, I’m heading to record a brand new show called, “The Hero’s Journey.” This program will air all over the world on ISN and METV. Today and tomorrow, I’ll be recording 16 episodes. Will you pray for my strength, that God will grant me the right words to say, that His presence will fill the studio, that His power will flow to viewers in every single episode, and that lives will be changed forever as the result of this program? Thank you for your prayers! I really appreciate them! Now, for today’s devotional.

The passage I quoted above compares us to a field and a building in progress. A field needs to be watered, tended to, harvested, and more for it to be a productive field. A building is not built overnight. There’s many different aspects that concern a building under construction. It takes materials, help, work, and time.

You are God’s building. You are His field. He’s not done with you yet. Don’t quit on yourself because God hasn’t quit on you. Follow Him and trust His process. He will always see you through, help you, mature you, and take you from glory to glory, faith to faith, strength to strength, and level to level.

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for your wisdom, your favor, and your help. Help me to follow your leading today. I trust your process. I believe you are working in me and through me to accomplish your plan for my life. I thank you that you have prepared wonderful things for me and as I follow your Spirit I will see all the things you have prepared. I believe your favor surrounds me as a force field. I ask for greater levels of your favor to manifest in my life. Lord, help us grow in understanding of your favor so that we can live in the upward cycle of favor. I ask that you show us how we all can be wise stewards of your favor. Your favor makes the difference in our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
