You Will Win!

Good Morning!

Something good is going to happen to you today! As we covered this week, when you were born again you were made a champion. You were born again to win. It’s important that you understand your identity as a champion. You are victorious.

The circumstances and situations you face in life do not change your identity. The reports on the news do not change your identity. When you were born again, God made you a champion. If you are facing an overwhelming challenge today, please understand this: you can beat it. Read this passage from Victory: A 10-Day devotional.

You were born again to win! When God sees you, He doesn’t identify you by your mistakes, your shortcomings, nor your past. He sees you as a world- overcomer. It doesn’t matter what you are facing today, you were born again to defeat it. You may have heard of stories of people who were born into levels of privilege, wealth, and affluence because of the family they were born into. In the same way, when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you were born again into the family of God. You are destined to have a life of victory because you were born again. As the Scripture shares above, whoever is born of God overcomes the world. The word for “world” here indicates the systems of this world, not the planet itself.

The systems of this world are infested with demonic powers that have Satanic assignments to prevent you from doing what God called you to do. Satan would love for you see yourself as a loser and unable to overcome him.

You are not a loser; as Romans 8 declares, you are “more than a conqueror through Him that loves you.” Since you’ve been born again, you have to adopt the mentality of a champion and change the way you think. In order to experience victory, you have to change the way you see yourself. In Numbers 13, the Israelites did not enter the Promise Land because of their unbelief and how they saw themselves. Faith in God will change how you see yourself, because the Scripture declares that we are new creations in Christ Jesus. It is vitally important that we remind ourselves who we are in Christ Jesus. Today, look in the mirror and point to yourself and say, “I am born again to win. I am more than a conqueror through God Who loves me. I am a champion!”

The mentality of a champion understands that their opponent is trying to defeat them. The champion doesn’t focus all of his time on the possibility of being hit, but on how to overcome and win. Yes, your opponent will attack, but you have the victory.

God did not bring you this far for you to lose. You have the victory. Adopt the mentality of the champion. Yes, attacks will come, but you win. God has victory planned for you so you need to begin to say, “All I do is win. Thanks be to God Who always causes me to triumph.”

In today’s Faith in the Morning, I share the importance of being led by God and how you already know His voice. You really do! You know God’s voice and He wants to lead you today!
