Good Morning!

It’s Friday! I pray that you have a wonderful weekend! Remember, this month we are reading through the Gospel of Matthew. As you read through chapter 8 today, you’ll be encouraged by the miraculous power of Jesus as He heals the sick, delivers the possessed, and calms the storm. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He did it in Bible days, He can do it in your life today.

This weekend, I’ll be preaching in Sofia, Bulgaria. Will you pray for me as I travel and share with our Faith family there? In yesterday’s newsletter, I shared about the importance of acknowledging the favor of God. Today, I want to share two different ways to recognize the favor of God upon your life. Where do you see the favor of God manifest in your life on a regular basis? Is it in a certain area? With a certain group of people? In a certain industry? Wherever you see that favor, write it down and thank God for that favor every single day and every time you think about it.

Another way to recognize God’s favor, is to talk about it when you experience it. When you see the favor of God show up in your life today, inwardly acknowledge that what you are experiencing is the favor of God. After you have recognized that you are experiencing the favor of God, be quick to express your gratitude to God. Whatever you recognize and give thanks for will improve and increase.

We are in this journey of better understanding favor together.  As we grow in understanding and application, I know we will see the marvelous results of God’s favor in our lives. Pray this prayer with me again today, “Father, thank you for your favor. I believe it surrounds me as a force field. Lord, help us grow in understanding of your favor so that we can live in the cycle of favor. I ask that you show us how we all can be wise stewards of your favor. Your favor makes the difference in our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
