Do You Really Know What God Has Placed Inside Of You?

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

Ephesians 1:11 (NKJV)

Good Morning!

What God has placed on the inside of you is greater than the challenges in front of you! In today’s devotional, we’re going to continue our deep dive into the resources that God has placed in the born again heart.

As of this Spring, the Faith in the Morning podcast devotional has been streaming for four years. In just a few short weeks, we will stream our 1,000th episode! As we go beyond 1,000, I created a one minute to survey to help us learn more about how you access the Faith in the Morning devotional and newsletter. Can you fill out this quick survey for me? If you complete the survey, you will be entered into a special giveaway that is connected to our 1000th episode! Thank you for filling out the survey and helping us take Faith in the Morning into the future!

Don’t miss this Sunday at Faith Christian Center! Our special guest speaker will be Tim Storey!

When you were born again, God put wonderful things into your spirit. In the Gospels, Jesus called your spirit, also known as your heart, a treasure house. The Book of Ephesians informs us that God has given us an inheritance and placed the abundance of the glory within us. The fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5 are on the inside of us. As we share in today’s podcast devotional, supernatural strength has also been placed within us as part of our inheritance.

What God has placed with in you is greater than the challenge you are facing. I know what you’re facing seems intense and is filled with pressure, twists, and turns. However, as I plan to share in tonight’s online Midweek Experience, what God has placed in you is weightier and stronger than the circumstances that surround you. God in His infinite wisdom and love has prepared you for a born again life of victory through the resources He has made available to you in Jesus.

As I shared yesterday, praying the Ephesians 1 prayer is a daily habit that I highly recommend. As you pray that prayer, God grants you spiritual insight in a multitude of areas. One of those areas is concerning what God has placed on the inside of your heart. Pray the Ephesians 1 prayer with me today. You can pray it by reading it below or by praying along with me in this video.

Let’s pray! Pray “Father, I pray that you, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. I pray that the eyes of my understanding are enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of your power to us who believe, according to the working of your mighty power, which you wrought in Christ, when you raised Him from the dead, and set Him at your own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. You have put all things under His feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of him that fills all in all. Father, I thank you that when you seated Jesus at your right hand you have also seated me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

In our podcast devotional today, I share how supernatural strength is a part of your inheritance. You need to see yourself as a recipient of God’s great love, His amazing mercy, and as a recipient of His inheritance. In Friday’s devotional, I shared why you must stop saying that you’re unworthy. If you’re going to walk in uncommon favor and access your inheritance, you must realize the blood of Jesus has made you worthy.

Thank you for starting your day with Faith in the Morning. We love you and are praying for you. Have a miraculous day!
