The Prince Of Peace Has Peace For You!

The arrival of the Messiah was proof of God’s goodwill towards us. It is through Jesus that we have peace with God and the peace of God.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

Luke 2:13-14 (NKJV)

Good Morning!

We are one week away from Christmas. As we approach this special day, I want to draw your attention to what the angels proclaimed in praise. They praised God and said, “And on earth peace, goodwill towards men.” With the arrival of the Messiah, the angels knew an important truth that I want you to grasp today.

As we have shared over the last few weeks, John 10:10 shares that Jesus came that you might have and enjoy life (AMPC), have a rich and satisfying life (NLT), and have a life that’s better than you can dream of (MSG). The arrival of the Messiah was proof of God’s goodwill towards us. It is through Jesus that we have peace with God and the peace of God.

Peace with God grants access to God. God is not mad at you; He is madly in love with you. He is not waiting to zap you because you made a mistake. He’s ready to restore you. He is not looking to harm you; He’s looking to bless you.

As you go through this week, remember that you have peace with God. Come to Him with every problem. Turn to Him anytime anxiety and stress try to grab a hold of your heart and mind. He loves you. He is with you. His will toward you is good.

Take time to stream today’s Faith in the Morning podcast devotional and pray the Ephesians 1 prayer. In today’s podcast devotional, I share more about the peace that God has for you. Peace is more than a Christmas message. It is a reality which God has made available for you through Jesus. God loves you, He really does. Something good is going to happen to you today because God loves you. Because He loves you, expect miracles.
