This Peace Can Transform Your Life

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

Good Morning!

Peace can be your reality even during a busy holiday season. When you were born again, the very peace of Jesus was placed in your heart. The same peace that enabled Jesus to sleep through a storm lives on the inside of you. Remember, in John 14:27, Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” The peace of Jesus can calm every internal storm and transform external situations. The peace of God on the inside of you is a force for good! (Do you know someone who needs to read today’s newsletter? Forward it to them so they can be encouraged as well.)

In the Gospels, Jesus sent out 70 disciples to accomplish the mission He gave them. Jesus gave them specific instructions. In His instructions, He said, “Whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this household! [Freedom from all the distresses that result from sin be with this family]. And if anyone [worthy] of peace and blessedness is there, the peace and blessedness you wish shall come upon him; but if not, it shall come back to you.” (Luke 10:5-6 AMPC)

The disciples were sent into different situations to share the good news and Jesus empowered them to release a blessing of peace. This blessing of peace would cause the family to experience freedom from all the distresses that result from sin. The peace they released was powerful enough to transform the family’s entire situation. The force of peace can do the same thing for you!

2nd Peter 1:2 tells us that grace and peace can be multiplied to us through the knowledge of God. This is more than just knowing about God. It is also knowing God. As we progress in our relationship with God, peace is multiplied in our lives. This multiplied force of peace causes us to experience peace as our reality.

Today, say, “The peace of God is on the inside of me. I live in peace. I am at peace. I speak peace over my life. God’s peace is multiplying in my life. I am peace.” This Sunday, for our Christmas Eve Experience, I will continue to share how you can experience peace as a reality and have it transform your life. If you are in Metro Atlanta area for the holiday, I would love to see you there. If you are out of town, join us online.
