🚨 You Must Pray For These Two Things This Week ‼️
Good Morning!
This is going to be a great week for you! Yesterday at Faith, I shared how God has been setting you up for the wonderful future He has for you. If God has set you up, (and He has) you must pray for these two things this week. I encouraged everyone who was a part of yesterday’s Faith Experience to pray for these two things for you, me, themselves, and the entire Faith family. If you are going to join us in praying for these two things this week, reply to this email and let me know that you are praying.
In yesterday’s message, I shared that we have to pray for open doors and favor. This week during our Faith in the Morning daily devotional podcast and in this newsletter, we are going to cover these two important topics in more detail. Throughout the Book of Acts and Paul’s epistles, we see the phrase, concept, and importance of an open door.
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,
Col 4:2-3 (NKJV)
An open door is an opportunity. We must pray for God to grant us opportunities to fulfill His plan for our lives. If open doors were automatic, Paul would not have asked the church in Colossae to pray that God would grant Him an open door. No matter your career or calling, you need to pray for God to grant you open doors and opportunities. And, yes, this week pray for open doors and opportunities to come to everyone who is reading this newsletter with you.
In Colossians 4:5 (NLT), the Apostle Paul says, “make the most of every opportunity.” Yesterday, I shared a quote from Leonard Ravenhill that said, “The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized during the lifetime of the opportunity.” We have to take advantage of every opportunity that God brings our way. We must pray for opportunities and then make the most of the opportunity when God brings it our way.
You will miss the opportunity if you keep your eyes on the opposition and opposing circumstances. As I shared with the Faith family and reminded myself this morning, “Get your eyes off the opposition. Get your eyes on the opportunity.”
Remember, pray for open doors and favor for yourself, me, and all of those who are a part of this wonderful Faith family. If you will be praying for all of us, reply to this email and let me know. Thank you for starting your day with Faith in the Morning. We love you and are praying for you. Have a miraculous day!
