What Would Your Life Look Like If...

A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

John 10:10 MSG

Good Morning!

This is going to be a great week for you! Yesterday, I added another installment to our new series, God Wants You To Have A Wonderful Life. (To access my notes from yesterday’s message, click here). For the next few weeks, we will build on this theme in our daily devotional podcast, this newsletter, the Midweek Bible Study, and during our Sunday Faith Experiences. In yesterday’s message, I shared why it is vitally important that you begin to see yourself and your life in a different way. (To listen to Sunday Series, click here.)

Yesterday, during the message, I asked an important question: what would your life look like if every area of your life was blessed? Gen 24:1 shares that God had blessed Abraham in every way. One translation says that God blessed everything in Abraham’s life. Galatians 3 shares that we are blessed with faithful Abraham. In other words, the blessing that Abraham experienced is available to us. One reason that we don’t experience it as a reality in our life is because we have no idea what that looks like.

When God worked with Abraham, He gave Abraham a promise and a picture. He compared Abraham’s descendants to the stars and the sand. Every time Abraham looked at the stars and the sand, he was reminded of the promise of God. You need to follow the same process. As I shared in last Monday’s email (you can read it here), you need to operate by the three I’s. This applies to what we are covering today as well. You have to identify the areas of your life. You have to imagine the areas as blessed. As you identify and imagine these areas, inquire of the Lord concerning the areas. To inquire of the Lord simply means to seek Him for His guidance. Ask Him what He would like you to do concerning those areas.

This week, take time to imagine your life as blessed. As I shared in yesterday’s message, if you can’t see it, you will settle. The Scripture is clear. You are the blessed! You have to see yourself that way. Once you see yourself that way, you will talk that way, walk that way, live that way, and become a blessing wherever you go. Your future is brighter than you have previously imagined. God really wants you to have a wonderful life!

Take time to stream today’s Faith in the Morning podcast devotional , pray the Ephesians 1 prayer, and have an amazing day!
