But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." But God has revealed [them] to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. ... Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

Good Morning!

God loves you and He was wonderful things in store for you! This month, we are reading through 1st and 2nd Corinthians. Today, make sure you read 1st Corinthians chapter 2 and continue to read a chapter a day throughout this month.

The passage I quoted above is a famous passage to many Christians. They often say, “Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, it hasn’t even entered the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love Him.” However, that’s not the good news of this passage!

The good news of the passage is that God is actively revealing to us what eyes haven’t seen, what ears haven’t heard, what He has prepared for us by His Spirit. In this passage, the Apostle continues to share that one of the reasons God gave us the Holy Spirit is so that we can know the things that God has freely given to us.

God has prepared wonderful things for your life. He has put wonderful things in your spirit. He has a great plan for your life. How will you discover those things? By following His Spirit. I’ll share more about it in the newsletter this week and during our upcoming message this Sunday.

Expect favor and goodness today because you know God has prepared it for you. Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for your wisdom, your favor, and your help. Help me to follow your leading today. I thank you that you have prepared wonderful things for me and as I follow your Spirit I will see all the things you have prepared. I believe your favor surrounds me as a force field. I ask for greater levels of your favor to manifest in my life. Lord, help us grow in understanding of your favor so that we can live in the upward cycle of favor. I ask that you show us how we all can be wise stewards of your favor. Your favor makes the difference in our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
