Good Morning!

We pray for a lot of things (and we should), however we must not forget to thank God for His goodness. During times of pressure, it is easy to focus on the problem and pray about the problem. Instead of obsessing over the problem, we should thank God for His goodness.

In the midst of every problem, God is still good. I remember saying this at church growing up, “God is good, all the time” and “All the time, God is good.” Since God is good at all times, we must remember to thank Him for His goodness. When we thank God for His goodness, we are expressing our gratitude and shifting our focus to a miraculous place of hope. Thanking God for His goodness will transform your life. Today, make sure that you thank God for His goodness throughout your day.

Pray this prayer with me, “Father, I thank you for loving me. I believe your plan is best for my life. I ask to see more of your glory manifest in my life. I believe that my life is filling and overflowing with your glory and your goodness. Help me live a life that causes others to want to know you. Thank you for being so good to me! In Jesus’ name, amen.”
