God's Will For Your Life Doesn't Have To Be A Mystery

Happy Friday!

I hope you have had an amazing week. Did you know that God’s will for your life is not supposed to stay a mystery? God doesn’t want you to guess about your next steps or His plan for your life. The prayer of Ephesians 1 shares about the clarity we should have about God’s plan for our life.

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”  Ephesians 1:18

In this Scripture, hope is confident expectation.  Many Believers have heard and used phrases about being “called by God” or “God’s calling.”  The calling of God is simply His invitation.  When God calls a person to a specific task, He is inviting them to fulfill His will in that area.  An invitation can be received or rejected.  Every individual has a God-given right to either receive or reject God’s invitation.  There are some who miss God’s invitation for His purpose for their lives, because they do not see it or recognize it.  The Ephesians 1 prayer enables Believers to know the confident expectation of God’s invitation for their lives.  The will of God and His invitation does not have to be a mystery towards Believers.  God wants every Believer to receive His invitation and have clarity concerning the call on their lives.  With clarity, the Believer can know what God expects from them and develop their own confident expectation that they will fulfill the call of God on their lives

It’s time to put guessing behind us. It’s time for us to walk in clarity concerning what God has called us to do. I have a strong impression in my heart that we need to be in the place God has called us to be in before 2024 begins. Take time to pray the Ephesians 1 prayer today and listen to what God will reveal in your heart. During today’s Faith in the Morning devotional podcast, I share two more things that you must learn from the Ephesians 1 prayer.
