Doors Are Opening For You!
"I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.
Rev. 3:8 (NLT)
Good Morning!
This is your day for open doors and favor! On Sunday at Faith, I shared how God has been setting you up for the wonderful future He has for you. If you missed Sunday’s message, please listen to it. We’ll be referencing it throughout the week. During Sunday’s message and in Faith in the Morning this week, I’ve encouraged you to pray for open doors and favor your yourself, your family, and this entire Faith in the Morning family.
An open door is an opportunity. We must pray for God to grant us opportunities to fulfill His plan for our lives. Open doors are not necessarily automatic, there are some that must be opened through prayer, which is why Paul consistently asked the churches to pray that he would have open doors. Other doors or opportunities are granted as a reward for faithfulness.
In Revelation 3, Jesus shares that an open door has been granted to the church in Philadelphia because of their faithfulness. The KJV uses the phrase that he set an open door before them. It is wonderful that they have this divinely granted opportunity, however something else is required. They must take advantage of the opportunity.
God can set an open door before you, but you will have to choose to walk through it. You will miss the opportunity if you keep your eyes on the opposition and opposing circumstances. As I shared previously and will keep sharing, “Get your eyes off the opposition. Get your eyes on the opportunity.”
As I reflect on that statement, I’m reminded of four years ago. We were hosting a prayer meeting with my good friend, Pastor Marcus Tankard. During the meeting, the Holy Spirit spoke many things to us. (This was a few weeks before the pandemic was declared.) The Holy Spirit impressed to us that we should get our eyes off the virus and get our eyes on His plan. We didn’t know what was coming and how it would change everything. However, we did our best to keep our eyes on the plan of God for our lives and ministries. As a result, in the midst of a trying time, we saw wonderful things happen. Faith in the Morning started as a result of that time and it has continually grown since then. Why am I sharing this? Because if we had only focused on all of the bad things that were happening, we would have missed our open door. God has open doors and favor for you today!
Remember, pray for open doors and favor for yourself, me, and all of those who are a part of this wonderful Faith family. If you will be praying for all of us, reply to this email and let me know. Thank you for starting your day with Faith in the Morning. We love you and are praying for you. Have a miraculous day!
