Good Morning!

Happy Friday! I hope you are enjoying your reading through the Book of Acts this month. Today’s reading is Acts 16. As I reflect on Acts 16, I remember a message I preached at FX Church in Detroit a few years ago. In this message, I share how knowing Jesus is with you will enable you to overcome every obstacle and enjoy the life God has for you. 

In today’s podcast devotional, my wife and I share more important truths and encouragement from Acts 16 as well. If you stream today’s podcast devotional, I believe you will encouraged to believe for miracles, signs, and wonders to suddenly overtake the situation you are facing.

In Acts 16, we see the Holy Spirit doing miraculous and spectacular things. However, Acts 16 also reveals the Holy Spirit doing miraculous things that we sometimes take for granted or even overlook. In Acts 16, we are introduced to Timothy and Lydia.

Lydia is the first recorded convert in Europe. She became a major source of support for Paul and his ministry team while they lived in Philippi. Timothy, Paul’s protege, eventually becomes the pastor of the church of Ephesus that grew to become the largest church of the ancient world.

When Paul met Timothy and Lydia, I wondered if he knew what the Holy Spirit was orchestrating. Did he know his meetings with Timothy and Lydia were divine appointments and connections? Sometimes divine connections and appointments do not always appear spectacular, but they are supernatural. This weekend, I’m praying and believing that you will have even more divine connections and appointments! Do you want to know the key to experiencing divine connections and appointments? Live a life led by the Holy Spirit and constantly believe that God is working all things for your good! I’ll share more about this next week.
