As I shared this week, praying the Ephesians 1 prayer is an important daily habit that will increase your spiritual insight in a number of areas, including what God has placed inside of you. Look at what Paul prays in Ephesians 1:18.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

In Prayers That Will Change Your Life, I shared more about the importance of this verse and this prayer. This is a prayer that will upgrade your spiritual insight and help you understand what God has placed on the inside of you.

As you pray the Ephesians 1 prayer, you’ll have a greater revelation and understanding of what God has placed within you and you’ll also learn how to use it. What God has placed within you is far greater than the circumstances and pressures around you. We all need a continual upgrade in our spiritual insight. Our perspective and mentality needs to be daily renewed and continually expanded so that we can walk in the fullness that God has for us.

Today, pray the Ephesians 1 prayer with me. You can pray it by reading it below or by praying along with me in this video.

Let’s pray! Pray “Father, I pray that you, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. I pray that the eyes of my understanding are enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of your power to us who believe, according to the working of your mighty power, which you wrought in Christ, when you raised Him from the dead, and set Him at your own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. You have put all things under His feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of him that fills all in all. Father, I thank you that when you seated Jesus at your right hand you have also seated me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
