Did you know that you are a powerhouse? Did you know that your spirit is a power plant? There is power working in you right now! Ephesians 3:20 reveals that you have power working within you. The amount of power working in you directly correlates to you experiencing a miraculous lifestyle that is far above everything you can think of, pray for, and imagine. Guess what? The amount of power working in you is not up to God. It’s up to you!

In Prayers That Will Change Your Life, I shared more about the power that is working in you.

It is wonderful that God can do far beyond everything that Believers can ask, think, dream, and imagine. Believers often overlook this part of the verse: “according to the power that is working in them”. The Believer can easily limit the power of God from working in their lives. The majority of Christians do it everyday without realizing it. They may not realize the power is available and never consider it. They may continually makes decisions that are in opposition to the power working in their everyday life. This prayer holds revelation on how to have that power working or active in the Believer’s life. In summary, this passage reveals that it is through prayer, faith-fueled by the revelation and the lifestyle of love, accessing the power, and putting it into everyday use that the Believer can experience fullness, expansion, and more of the fullness of God.

In No Longer Mere Mortals, I shared more about the possibility of this power transforming your life.

The superabundantly, far over and above all that we ask, think, pray for, want, think about, and imagine in the superhuman life is fueled by the power of God that is at work within us. Notice that Ephesians 3:20 did not say according to God’s power working in heaven or in other places. It says it is according to God’s power working in the individual. If people have little power working within them, they will have a small portion of the over-and-above superhuman life. If people have more power working within them, they will have a greater portion of the over-and-above superhuman life.

Hunger, reverence, understanding and renewing your mind to new creation realities, faith, love, and wisdom position believers to generate and operate in massive amounts of power that will enable them to experience the superhuman life. As I have mentioned, these are not secrets that you put into practice once. These are secrets that you put into practice as a lifestyle, because the power is in consistency.

In this newsletter devotional, I’ve have recommended that you pray the Ephesians 1 prayer daily. There’s another prayer I want you to add to your daily time of prayer. It’s the Ephesians 3 prayer (Ephesians 3:16-20).

Let’s pray it together today. Pray this prayer with me, “Father, I pray that you would grant me, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might by your Spirit in the inner man. I pray that Christ may dwell in my heart by faith and that I am being rooted and grounded in love, and may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fullness of God. Father, I thank you that you are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that is at work in me. Unto You be glory in my life and the church by Christ Jesus forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
