Developing The Miracle Mentality

We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.

Psalm 78:4 (NIV)

Good Morning!

Wow! We had a wonderful time at our Faith Experience last night! What started as a Sunday Morning Experience has grown into a three day revival. Our special guest, Tim Storey, will join us for one more Faith Experience tonight. If you are in the area or can get here, I encourage you to join us for tonight’s Experience at 7pm. We’ve seen people healed and touched by the presence of God in a special way. In tonight’s Experience, Bro. Tim will continue to sharing on how you can develop the miracle mentality.

As of this Spring, the Faith in the Morning podcast devotional has been streaming for four years. In just a few short weeks, we will stream our 1,000th episode! As we go beyond 1,000, I created a one minute to survey to help us learn more about how you access the Faith in the Morning devotional and newsletter. Can you fill out this quick survey for me? If you complete the survey, you will be entered into a special giveaway that is connected to our 1000th episode! Thank you for filling out the survey and helping us take Faith in the Morning into the future!

As I shared yesterday, mentalities must be developed. A mentality is a way of thinking that is developed by consistent reinforcement of thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. We need to develop a mentality that expects miracles and favor.

One biblical word for a mentality is a stronghold. Strongholds can be negative or positive. I like what I heard Rev. Mac Hammond say years ago. He shared that your success in this life will be determined by what strongholds you build and inhabit. We build positive, godly strongholds by renewing our minds with the Word of God.

Every time a thought comes to your mind that contradicts what God promises, you fight it. You do not fight thoughts with thoughts. You fight thoughts with words. When thoughts come to you and say that you can’t do what God has called you to do, you reply, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” When thoughts bombard you and say that you are going to fail, you reply, “I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me.”

The saying is true. If you change your thinking, you will change your life. Since all of that is true, we should develop a miracle mentality. God is not out of miracles and He has a wonderful plan for your life.

As Psalm 78 says, we must share God’s miracles with the next generation. Why? It helps them build a miracle mentality. A miracle mentality must be consistently built, reinforced, and leveled up.

One of things I am grateful for is that over the last few days, my miracle mentality has been expanded, reinforced, and leveled up. Tonight, Tim Storey is going to help all of us take our miracle mentality to the next level. I would love to see you tonight at Faith Christian Center. If you are too far away, make sure you join us online. Wonderful things are happening and I don’t want you to miss out!

Thank you for starting your day with Faith in the Morning. We love you and are praying for you. Have a miraculous day!
